Tubre is situated next to the Swiss border. With its thousand inhabitants only ten km away from the mainstream, it’s a unique village with its very own charm. Until a few years ago people mostly lived from agriculture. Nevertheless you will still find lot of rustic characteristics and people still produce their own agricultural products.

In a little wooden hut up the mountains in Avingatal you can taste local delicious cheese and butter.
